BioCompute Spring Workshop 2024

This in-person workshop provides an opportunity to learn about BioCompute Objects and interoperability between 3 platforms that host BioCompute Objects.

Abstract

BioCompute is an official standard of IEEE 2791-2020 developed to enhance the reproducibility and communication of bioinformatics analyses. It is a platform designed to improve the efficiency of reporting and reviewing analyses in bioinformatics research through standardized workflow documentation. In an era where computational analyses play a pivotal role in driving scientific discoveries, the need for robust documentation, transparency, and seamless integration is paramount. The BioCompute Workshop 2024 serves as a critical nexus for researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders to share insights, experiences, and innovations aimed at shaping the future of reproducible and impactful bioinformatics.
